Memorial to Sandra
Website Updates
This is a log of updates made to Sandra's website since its inception.
August 5th, 2008:
- Made some improvements to the website's template, namely:
- Changed the main font,
- Added the favourite icon,
- Added the page titles to the browser's title bar,
- Added more meta information,
- Added logo and version information to footer, and
- Changed the copyright notice.
August 2nd, 2008:
- After a long hiatus, Sandra's ashes have once again been scattered in a number of locations: Monaco, Spain, Tunisia, Malta, Italy and at sea in the Mediterranean Sea.
- Added latitude, longitude and national flags to all scatterings.
February 16th, 2007:
- Added two new photographs of Sandra.
- Softened the banner at the top of the page slightly.
October 10th, 2006:
- Changed the link to the map of Queen Elizabeth Park to use a local PDF file, as the old link no longer worked.
February 16th, 2006:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Sudden Valley, Washington, United States of America.
- Added twenty new photographs.
November 10th, 2005:
- Added this updates page and the date and nature of the latest update to the top of every page.
November 8th, 2005:
- Uploaded new versions of three photographs which look better than the old versions. Thanks Arthur.
July 20th, 2005:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Stirling, Scotland.
July 6th, 2005:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Zürich, Switzerland.
February 16th, 2005:
- Registered the domain sandradavison.com and moved the site to that address. It will continue to be available at craig.ca/sandra indefinitely as well.
August 26th, 2004:
- Added a map to the scattering of Sandra's ashes page.
July 9th, 2004:
- Added a perspective to the videos page to put Sandra's illness into the context of the videos.
June 26th, 2004:
- Added the videos of Sandra to the site.
June 4th, 2004:
- Added a copy of my letter to the site.
June 3rd, 2004:
- Added a new photograph of Sandra.
March 25th, 2004:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Perth, Australia.
March 9th, 2004:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Macksville, Australia.
February 19th, 2004:
- Redesign of the home page including the addition of the story Rainbow Bridge and the poem I Need You.
February 17th, 2004:
- Major overhaul of the site to use a template system and finalise the design.
- Moved the information about the scattering of Sandra's ashes onto its own page.
- Added the following new pages:
February 16th, 2004:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Vancouver, British Columbia.
December 15th, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Amsterdam, Nederland.
December 1st, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Harare (formerly Salisbury), Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia).
November 13th, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Orkney, South Africa.
November 6th, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in the Gemsbok National Park, Botswana.
October 3rd, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Shiwa Ng'andu, Zambia.
September 26th, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes over Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya), Zambia.
August 27th, 2003:
- Scattered some of Sandra's ashes in Fort St. John, British Columbia.
August 12th, 2003:
- Added a home page in addition to the memorial book.
February 18th, 2003:
- The memorial book goes up.
February 16th, 2003:
- Sandra succumbs to cancer.
